May5K-1 Quarantine 2020 Virtual 5K

The Paynesville Quarantine 2020 - Virtual 5K Run and 1 Mile Tot Trot
What is a person to do during this unprecedented time? Fitness Centers are closed, sporting events are cancelled and social distancing has become what we are required to do.

Don’t fret we have something fun Ready for you.. The Paynesville Quarantine 2020 - Virtual 5K Run and 1 Mile Tot Trot is now available! Run on your personal treadmill in your home, around the neighborhood, down a quiet dirt road in the country, or anywhere that keeps you away from crowds. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors or complete the run in your home.

Remember this 5K/Tot Trot is virtual, which means we will not be holding an in-person race event. Just sign up online, run/walk, your 5K/Tot Trot, email proof of completion, and a race t-shirt will be made available once the Paynesville Community Education Office is able to reopen. Proof of completion should be emailed to mweber@isd741.org.

Proof of completion can include a photo of your treadmill screen, diagram of your race route, or screenshot of your favorite fitness/distance tracking app. Please include your name in your email.
We also would love pictures of you once you complete the run if you want to help encourage others!

Registration must be completed by May 31 - be sure to choose your shirt size during registration
We ask that your complete your race and submit record of it by Monday June 1.
**Remember to keep your distance from others and frequently wash your hands so we can limit the spread and flatten the curve.**
